Celebrations at the New Snow Moon
Flowers from Sceptre, my publisher & my friend Shel.

You know your life is changing when you run out of vases!

Thank you to all who came to the Virtual Launch. I hope to have the recording archived and uploaded for public viewing later this week.

The book is now out, and I’m blown away by the outpouring of good feeling from readers around the world who are receiving their copies and independent bookshops across Scotland and England featuring the book in their shops and recommending it online.

I’m absolutely chuffed that Ashes & Stones is Ali Braidwood’s Book of the Week. Listen to the Scots Whay Hae Radio Show archived here:

I talk about this song in the book. The show is definitely worth listening all the way through!)

There are places in the Writing as Ritual workshop—join us!

A crash course in first lines, new habits and starting out. In this workshop we will discuss ways to face the blank page, modes of creating a writing ritual for yourself and as well as warding your practice in the face of upheaval and uncertainty.  4th of February, 2023. 7pm GMT

(Subscribers receive a discount—contact me for the link!)

We'll explore ways to carve out time and space to write as well as reconnecting with our own vision and purpose.

I'll share practical tips and tricks for forming or renewing a regular writing practice.

Together we'll examine our processes, sharing discoveries and challenges as a group as well as our hopes and plans for writing in the new year.

There will be prompts and inspiration for future work.

Participants will bring a stone, a light, and a plant. (Or tailor this to your practice—something to ground you, something to bring presence and something for growth and rootedness)
